Pastor Gerry Mac Manus has been with the Burdekin Community Church since coming to Ayr in 2006. He was born and brought up in Fiji where he did all his schooling & a year at the University of the South Pacific. After studying and working in the fields of horticulture and plant pathology he had a sea change and began working with the youth before becoming Pastor Peter’s 2IC in 2015. His passion is wanting people to experience a personal relationship with our Heavenly Father through Jesus Christ and the empowering of the Holy Spirit and pastoral care. He has been married to Lesley since 2011 and together they believe in loving God and loving people. They both have strong family ties and values. Pastor Gerry also serves as Chaplain at Burdekin Christian College providing spiritual support, mentoring students and providing pastoral care for students, staff and families.
