Changing Lives

01.

— What We Believe

At Burdekin Community Church, we believe in the power of God to change and transform lives. It’s not by our own efforts, but through God’s grace within us. When we experience the amazing love of God, we feel compelled to share the Good News with others!

02.

— Our Values

Our Church highly values worshipping God in all aspects of life, being trustworthy to friends, family and foes, upholding our commitment as covenant Church members, sharing the Gospel, embracing personal transformation through the Gospel, and practising generosity, especially toward those in need.

03.

— Serving Others

At Burdekin Community Church, we believe that serving others is an integral part of being a disciple of Christ. Whether it’s assisting with the Church ministries and services, visiting the sick, helping the widow, the orphan or those in prison, we find great joy in being a blessing to others.

04.

— Our Mission

Our mission is to transform the Burdekin and beyond through the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ by being a transformed people.

05.

— The Holy Bible

We believe that the Bible as the Word of God is truth (Dan 10:21) and the foundation for our lives and worldview.

06.

— Prayer

We believe in the power of prayer! Our Prayer Chain Ministry is a group of our Church’s prayer warriors who, through faith, bring your requests to God.

Have a prayer request?

Whether it’s sickness, a problem, an unexpected disaster, or a concern within our Church or wider community, we are here to bring your requests to God.

Submit your prayer request or join us every Tuesday afternoon from 5pm to 6pm at the Church hall for our weekly prayer meeting.

Burdekin Christian College

Burdekin Christian College

At Burdekin Christian College, we understand that learning is a collaborative effort involving students, parents and teachers. Our goal is to provide the necessary support to families to ensure this process is successful. Additionally, we partner with families to help reinforce Biblical values, morals, discipline and standards of conduct by educating from a Christian Worldview.
